Overflowing Blessings from the Sky

January is almost over. I was very lucky that I had too much blessings in my garden. During the month of December until mid-January, I had at least a 500 monarch caterpillars from my crow flower trees. Almost 95 % of the caterpillars pupated, and 90% of it emerged into healthy monarch butterflies. It was an overwhelming experience, between feeding and cleaning their frass ( poops).

But after waves of feedings and releasing them out, a dozen and a Half per day, I think it is well worth it. Now I have more caterpillars to raise, and at the same time I enjoy watching them hover and chase each other during Hawaiian chilly-sunny day.
